HPA Design
The press is built in rigid steel with a low-maintenance hydraulic unit. The operator works the ram with a joystick and reads the pressure on the manometer.
The part sits on a height-adjustable lower support (work bed) between the columns. A full lower table work plate is optional. From 30 tonnes up, the cylinder is moved by hand between the columns, and hand-wheel or geared movement can be specified instead. Hydraulic and electrical safety systems and an emergency stop button come as standard.

Working area between columns is the clear working size between the columns, given as depth × width: e.g. 400x1500 = 400 mm depth × 1,500 mm width.
Speeds are typical values. The pressing speed under full rated force depends on the pump and motor configuration chosen for the application.
Choosing the HPA Hydraulic Workshop Press
The HPA covers general workshop pressing from 10 to 400 tonnes, and the wide HPA-W frames take longer parts. Shafts and bars that need straightening on V-blocks, with stop-at-any-position control, belong on the HPR. For sheet bending with blades and a prism, see the HPG.
Typical industries: agricultural machinery, vehicle and heavy-equipment repair, plant maintenance and metal fabrication.
