KMT / KT Sheet Metal Beading Machines (Manual and Motorized)
The KMT and KT are compact sheet metal beading machines for sheet up to 1.2 mm. Their cast-iron frames carry two shafts with interchangeable rolls that bead and fold the edge of flat sheet and round parts.
The KMT 1.2 is motorized, with a foot pedal and a floor stand. The KT 0.8 and KT 1.2 are hand-driven manual beading machines that bolt to a workbench.

Choosing a KMT / KT Sheet Metal Beading Machine
- KT 0.8: the lightest machine, for thin sheet and occasional work.
- KT 1.2: manual, up to 1.2 mm; same rolls and throat as the KMT 1.2.
- KMT 1.2: motorized with foot-pedal control, for regular shop work; both hands stay free to guide the part.
Send the part drawing and material grade before choosing a machine. Throat depth and shaft length limit which operations a model can do, and the listed mild-steel capacities do not apply to stainless steel.
For sheet up to 2.5 or 4 mm, see the KBT power trimming and beading machines.

Frequently Asked Questions About KMT / KT
Manual or motorized?
The KT models are hand-driven and bolt to a workbench. The KMT 1.2 has a motor, foot-pedal control and a floor stand.
Are the rolls interchangeable between models?
Yes. The KMT and KT rolls fit each other: the KMT 1.2 and KT 1.2 share the same 62 mm rolls and 140 mm shafts. Special rolls are also made to order.
What sheet thickness can a manual beading machine handle?
The KT 0.8 handles sheet up to 0.8 mm, and the KT 1.2 up to 1.2 mm.
Is a sheet metal beading machine the same as a bead roller?
They work the same way, with two shaped rolls. The KMT and KT are built for duct and fitting work in workshops, with cast-iron frames and a full set of standard rolls.
