MSR / SR 3-Roll Plate Bending Machines

The MSR / SR 3-roll plate bending machine has cast-iron frames and rolls sheet from 0.8 to 2.0 mm. The MSR is motorised, with a foot-pedal control panel, and the SR is turned by hand.

Each version comes in ten sizes with useful lengths from 1,050 to 2,050 mm.

MSR or SR

On the MSR, a single gearbox and gear system drive the top and bottom rolls, a brake motor gives precise bending, and the operator works from a mobile foot-pedal control panel. The SR is the hand-operated version and needs no electrical supply. Both versions are floor-standing machines.

Plate bending capacities are given for 260 N/mm² plate yield strength.

Minimum bending diameter: top roll diameter × 1.5.

Choosing MSR | SR

Both versions share the same sizes and capacities. Choose the MSR, a motorised 3-roll plate bending machine with a brake motor and foot-pedal control, for powered rolling. Choose the SR, the manual 3-roll plate bending machine of the pair, where hand operation is preferred.

Both are floor-standing and roll sheet up to 2.0 mm, for work such as ventilation ducts and parts, stove pipes and light cylindrical parts, depending on thickness, working length and diameter. For hand rolling on a bench, see the MR manual slip roll. For sheet up to 3.0 mm, see the MRD | RD machines.

Frequently Asked Questions About MSR | SR

From 0.8 to 2.0 mm, depending on the model and working length, for 260 N/mm² plate yield strength.

The MSR is the motorised version, with a brake motor and a foot-pedal control panel. The SR is the manual version in the same sizes and capacities, turned by hand.

No. The SR is turned by hand. Only the MSR has a motor.
