The MPC C-frame mechanical press from EBR METAL is an open-front eccentric press for blanking, punching and forming sheet-metal parts. A pneumatic clutch-brake combination, a 4-way guided ram and PLC touchscreen control are standard.

The range has 11 models from 15 to 300 tonnes. The stroke is adjustable on every model, up to 200 mm on the MPC 300.

MPC Design

The MPC is the C-type eccentric press in the EBR METAL range. Its frame is steel-fabricated and vibration stress-relieved, and the open front gives direct access to the die area for die setting and part handling.

The ram, connecting rod and ball socket are steel castings. A one-piece high-strength crankshaft drives the ram through a bronze connecting-rod bushing. Ram adjustment is ratchet-type and motorised from 150 tonnes.

Choosing the MPC C-Frame Mechanical Press

The MPC suits work where open access to the die matters and the stroke has to be set to the part. Most general punching, stamping and forming jobs fit it. Larger dies, wider beds and precision parts that need the load spread evenly across the die go on the closed-frame MPH H-frame mechanical press. Where the job needs force held through the stroke and adjustable pressing speed, look at the HPC C-frame hydraulic press.

Typical industries are automotive parts, white goods, kitchen equipment and electrical components.

An A-type monoblock eccentric press is also built on request, from 40 to 300 tonnes.
