HPZ Horizontal Hydraulic Press
The HPZ horizontal hydraulic press from EBR METAL has a welded steel body and a ram that works horizontally against tooling on the table. It is supplied with one set of bending tooling, a foot pedal and stroke adjustment by digital readout.
Seven standard models cover 10 to 100 tonnes. With the right tooling, they bend flat bar up to 300 × 25 mm and round tube up to 114 × 10 mm. Pipe bending, cutting, punching and straightening tools are optional. Other sizes and configurations are built to order.

HPZ Design
Because the ram moves horizontally, the tooling is bolted on a flat table at a working height of 915 to 930 mm. The operator sets the forward and return positions on the digital stroke readout and runs the press from the foot pedal, in manual or automatic mode. Optional NC adds programmable stepped bending.
Tooling and pins are hardened and ground. One set of bending tooling is standard, and further tools can be added as options.

Choosing the HPZ Horizontal Hydraulic Press
The HPZ bends flat bar and tube at bench height. With optional tools it also cuts, punches and straightens smaller parts. For straightening shafts and bars in a vertical press, see the HPR. Sheet bending across a 1,020 or 1,520 mm table is done on the HPG.
