PBM Motorized Profile Bending Machine
The PBM motorized profile bending machine is EBR METAL’s compact roll bender for lighter sections and ornamental metalwork. It rolls flat bar, square and round bar, tube, pipe, angle, T-sections and small channel into curves, rings and spirals. Two bottom rolls are driven through gears, and the top roll turns freely.
Three models: PBM 32, PBM 35 and PBM 45. On the PBM 45 the top roll moves up and down hydraulically. All models work in the horizontal and the vertical position.

PBM Design
The PBM is a motorized section and pipe bending machine with a steel body. The roll shafts are special steel, hardened and ground, and the rolls are hardened.
- Drive: the two bottom rolls are driven directly by a gear system from the gearbox; the top roll is idle. On PBM 35 and 45 the roll shafts run in bearings.
- Top roll: set by hand on the PBM 32 and 35; moved up and down hydraulically on the PBM 45.
- Motor: double-speed motor as standard on the PBM 32 (2–4 m/min); on the PBM 35 and 45 a double-speed motor is an option.
- Guiding: adjustable guide rolls are standard.

Choosing the PBM Motorized Profile Bending Machine
The PBM motorized profile bending machine suits workshops that bend lighter sections, including railings, gates, fences, greenhouse arches, furniture frames and tube spirals. It is the lowest-cost machine in EBR METAL’s profile bending range, and the PBM 32 and PBM 35 are the models ordered most often.
- PBM 32: the smallest and lightest model, with a double-speed motor as standard and a manually set top roll.
- PBM 35: larger shafts and capacity, up to UPN 80 and Ø70 × 2 mm tube; manual top roll, optional twist and scroll attachments.
- PBM 45: the same capacity as the PBM 35, with a hydraulic top roll for easier setting.
For heavier sections, three driven rolls and digital read-outs, see the PBH angle roll machine. All models: profile bending machine range.
Request a Quote for the PBM
For each part, send the material, the section type and size, the wall thickness and the smallest inside diameter you need. Each tube diameter needs its own roll set, so list every size. If your work is close to the PBM limits, we will compare it with the smallest PBH models.
Frequently Asked Questions About PBM
What is a roll bender used for?
For rolling bar, tube and light sections into curves, rings and spirals. The PBM is a motorized roll bender for railings, gates, frames and greenhouse arches.
What is the difference between PBM 35 and PBM 45?
They have the same capacity. On the PBM 35 the top roll is set by hand; the PBM 45 moves it hydraulically, which makes setting the radius easier.
Can the PBM make twisted bars and scrolls?
Yes, on the PBM 35 and 45, with the optional bar twist and C&S (scroll) forming attachments, used for gates, railings and decorative metalwork.
Can the PBM bend tube and pipe?
Yes, with the optional pipe and tube rolls: up to Ø70 × 2 mm round tube and 2″ pipe on the PBM 35 and 45.
PBM or PBH?
The PBM costs less and suits lighter sections. For heavier work, beams or three driven rolls, compare the PBH range.
