LSM Lock Seamer Machines
The LSM lock seamer machine closes the longitudinal lock seam of round ducts and pipes. A hardened seaming roll presses the seam flat along a length of up to 1300 mm, on ducts from Ø130 to Ø1000 mm and sheet up to 1.2 mm.
Round duct and chimney makers use it to press a formed lock seam closed without welding.
Two models: the LSM 13 presses with a pneumatic piston at 8 bar; the LSM 13M presses with a motor and needs no compressed air.

LSM Design
- Seaming: gearbox-driven seaming system with hardened seaming rolls.
- Pressing: pneumatic piston (LSM 13) or motorized pressing (LSM 13M).
- Control: one foot pedal controls both pressing and roll travel.
- Slide: ball-bearing slide system.

Choosing the LSM Lock Seamer Machine
- LSM 13: pneumatic; for shops with a compressed-air supply.
- LSM 13M: motorized pressing with higher press force (1500 kg); no air supply needed.
The lock on the sheet edge is formed first on an LFM lock former machine.
