HPG Garage-Type Press Brake

The HPG garage-type press brake from EBR METAL is a hydraulic bending press on a welded steel frame. It comes with hardened blades, a 5-face prism and a T-slot bottom table, and the bottom table can be raised and lowered.

Four standard models cover 100 and 150 tonnes, with table lengths of 1,020 and 1,520 mm and a 300 mm stroke. The open working space takes large sheets. Other sizes and configurations are built to order.

HPG Design

The upper blade bends the sheet into the 5-face prism on the T-slot bottom table, and the table itself is adjustable, with a table raising and lowering attachment. The open working space leaves room to position large sheets.

The operator sets the working pressure with the adjustable pressure valve and reads it on the manometer. The stroke is adjusted steplessly by limit switch. Two-hand control is standard.

Bending capacities are given for St37 (S235) mild steel over the full working length.

Speeds are typical values. Pump, motor and speeds are matched to the customer's requirements.

Choosing the HPG Garage-Type Press Brake

The HPG is a press brake on a hydraulic press frame, with blade and prism tooling as standard. Agricultural machinery manufacturers are typical users, bending their own sheet parts. For CNC production bending, see EBR’s sheet metal folding machines. Die work on T-slot tables goes to the HPT, and shafts and bars that need straightening go to the HPR. General workshop pressing is covered by the HPA.

Typical industries: steel construction, agricultural machinery, metal fabrication and maintenance workshops.
